The project comprises the construction of a new switchgear building for the Purchaser at Hvolsvöllur, on the company’s site where the existing substation is located. The works include the construction of an insulated two-storey building with service routes/installations in the basement. The gross floor area of the building is 102.7 m², with a maximum height of approximately 7.3 m measured from the basement floor level.
