PRInnovation GmbHLeipzigPRImus-AD is a Phase II clinical trial investigating the efficacy and safety of an innovative drug in patients with mild cognitive impairment or mild Alzheimer's dementia. The study is randomised, double-blind, and placebo-controlled with three parallel study arms (two verum arms and one placebo arm). The aim of the clinical trial is to examine the effects of the active ingredient on neurotoxic protein structures and to evaluate the potential influence on disease progression. Randomised patients were treated for a minimum of 48 weeks up to 96 weeks. A total of 304 patients were divided into the three different treatment arms. An important read-out of the study is the analysis of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) data to record changes in brain volume at both the individual and group levels. All MRI scans are generated using the same imaging protocol, T2* gradient echo, and diffusion weighted sequences. The study will be conducted in accordance with international standards for good clinical practice (ICH-GCP) and strict quality management guidelines. The schedule provides for a step-by-step evaluation, including the transfer and backup of image data, analysis, and final dataSupply Delivery Installation Commissioning and Maintenance of Book Scanner and Digital Capture System

Health Service Executive (HSE)KildareThe objective of this Voluntary Ex Ante Transparency (VEAT) notice is to inform the marketplace of HSE West & North West’s intention to enter into a contract for the provision of Cardiac Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scans for Galway University Hospital (GUH) to support specialised cardiology diagnostics in Galway City. GUH currently does not possess the MRI1 capacity or clinical resources required to deliver Cardiac MRI services on site. As a result, there is a requirement to secure access to a suitably qualified ex-ternal provider located within close proximity to Galway City to ensure timely, efficient, and patient-centred service delivery. Cardiac MRI is widely recognised as the non-invasive imaging modality for the comprehensive assessment of cardiac structure, function, tissue characterisation, myocardial viability, cardiomyopathies, congenital heart disease, inflammatory cardiac conditions, and complex cardiovascular disorders. The availability of this service is essential to support accurate diagnosis, guide treatment planning, assist in risk stratification, and monitor disease progression, thereby contributing directly to improved patient outcomes and enhanced quality of care. The provision of Cardiac MRI scans are to be provided at the Galway Clinic Doughiska Unlimited Company, Doughiska, Galway, H91 HHTO. The proximity of the provider to Galway City is a key requirement to support timely and equitable access for patients. Many patients requiring Cardiac MRI investigations have significant cardiovascular disease, reduced mobility, or complex clinical needs. Access to a local or nearby service minimises travel burden, reduces delays in diagnosis, improves patient experience, and supports continuity of care. Furthermore, a geographically accessible service facilitates more efficient referral pathways, enables urgent and clinically time-sensitive cases to be accommodated promptly, and reduces the operational impact associated with longer-distance patient transfers. This is an interim arrangement pending a full procurement process to be completed during 2027.Turnkey Delivery of a Replacement MRI Suite for St. Vincent's University Hospital
St. Vincent's University HospitalDublinSt. Vincent’s University Hospital proposes to enter a contract for Turnkey Delivery (MRI system and enabling works) of a Replacement MRI Suite. SVUH requires a self-contained ultra-low helium system (not requiring a quench pipe) MRI 1.5 T system based on the following considerations: enables seamless ramp-down and ramp-up processes, including magnet shimming, without the need for field engineer intervention, thereby minimising operational downtime; eliminates the requirement for a quench pipe, maximising installation flexibility within existing infrastructure constraints; addresses sustainability concerns associated with helium consumption, recognising helium as a finite resource; reduces power consumption, supporting the sustainability objectives of both the HSE and SVUH. The SVUH 1.5T MRI suite is small and non-rectangular; there is no scope or allocated budget for major structural modifications to the suite. The department delivers advanced, multi-specialty MRI services for complex, critically ill, and bariatric patients and manages high-risk cases using specialized safety workflows, including accommodating ICU teams, anaesthetic equipment, and MR-conditional support systems. SVUH requires a dockable trolley system to safely support these clinical workflows within the unique physical constraints of the MRI suite. The requirement for a dockable trolley system has been definitively established with clinical stakeholders. Based on the above clinical, technical and safety requirements SVUH has determined that a self-contained ultra-low helium MRI system with a dockable trolley is essential. At present, SVUH is satisfied that Siemens Healthcare Medical Solutions Limited is the only supplier in the European market capable of meeting these requirements. SVUH is proposing a contract with said service provider for maximum ten (10) years, at the estimate value of EUR 2,000,000 excl. VAT. A Voluntary Ex-Ante Publication (VEAT) Notice will be published in OJEU, outlining SVUH’s intention to the market i.e. award a contract without prior call for competition as per Article 32.2.b.ii “competition is absent for technical reasons” (Procedure above EU Threshold). SVUH will not execute a contract with the identified provider for a minimum of fourteen (14) days from the date of publication of the above-mentioned Notice.Market consultation preclinical MRI system - AMICE network
Radboud universitair medisch centrumNijmegenFrist: 08. Aug.AMICE (Advanced Multimodal Imaging Centers) is a national collaborative network of experimental and preclinical imaging facilities across all Dutch academic medical centers and universities, established in 2021. Through a prestigious NWO Roadmap grant, the consortium has secured funding to upgrade and modernize preclinical MRI infrastructure at several participating institutions. These MRI systems are primarily used for advanced imaging of laboratory animals and ex vivo tissues in support of biomedical and translational research. In addition, many of the facilities provide imaging services for industry-sponsored and contract research projects, thereby facilitating collaboration between academia and commercial partners and supporting the translation of novel imaging methodologies into practical applications. As part of our upcoming procurement process, we are reaching out to the market to gather insights, perspectives, and practical input from organizations active in this field. To facilitate this, we have prepared a questionnaire that invites you to share your expertise and experience. Your responses will help us refine our requirements, validate assumptions, and ensure that the eventual tender aligns with realistic market conditions and opportunities. Participation is voluntary, and all information provided will be treated confidentially and used solely for the purpose of this consultation. Should any part of the questionnaire be unclear you may submit your questions through the Tenderned Question & Answer module. Questions can be submitted until 3 August, and all clarifications will be published no later than 7 August so that every participant has access to the same information. We kindly request to receive your answers to our questions by August 14. 'Refurbishment’ 3 MRI systems
