The Minister for the Climate, Energy and the Environment (DCEE) invites interested parties to submit responses to this request for tender for a desktop study for best practice methodology for characterising the migratory patterns of for birds (waterbirds and seabirds, passerine birds), digital aerial surveys for birds and marine mammals, benthic habitat survey over the SC-DMAP area and environs as specified within each lot. The SC-DMAP is situated off the coast of County Cork, Waterford and Wexford. As part of a new plan-led regime, the offshore wind Phase Two policy approved by Government in March 2023 requires that all future offshore renewable energy developments in Ireland will take place within Designated Maritime Area Plans (DMAPs), which will be established according to provisions in the Maritime Area Planning Act, 2021. Specifically, all future developments will take place at specific sites within DMAPs that have been identified for this purpose by Government. In October 2024, the Minister for the Environment, Climate and Communications made the South Coast Designated Maritime Area Plan for Offshore Renewable Energy (SC DMAP), following the approval of both Houses of the Oireachtas. The first offshore wind project with a capacity of approximately 900MW will take place in Tonn Nua and will aim for deployment by 2030.

AquaDuctus Pipeline GmbHKasselFrist: 22. Sept.To address Europe's future energy demand, significant investments into hydrogen infrastructure are essential. One of the core components of this initiative is the development of a pan-European hydrogen pipeline network in the North Sea, designed to connect major hydrogen producers with key consumers across the continent. The AquaDuctus project is part of this future pipeline network. The AquaDuctus project consists of an offshore part (Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) and territorial waters of the German North Sea and a receiving terminal at the coastline of Lower Saxony) and an onshore part to make connection with the onshore grid. The AquaDuctus project is planned as a large diameter pipeline (48 inch) with a transport capacity of 20 GWH2 and a design pressure of 120 bar. The conceptual design of the pipeline enables the connection of neighbouring European hydrogen infrastructures and the planned production facilities in the German EEZ (SEN-1 Area). For the shore crossing, the selected contractor shall prepare a legally compliant EIA as part of the Energy Industry Act (EnWG) permit process, based on agreed scoping with the responsible approval authority (Landesamt für Bergbau, Energie und Geologie - LBEG), covering nature conservation, water protection, and impact compensation requirements, which also include environmental studies. The substantive requirements for the environmental documentation are derived from the Energiewirtschaftsgesetz (EnWG), Bundesnaturschutzgesetz (BNatSchG) and Wasserhaushaltsgesetz (WHG). The contracting authority will align the precise scope of the investigations with the LBEG. The selected contractor shall assist the contracting authority in preparing, planning and executing the permit application process. The services comprise: determination of the data basis; preparation of documents for and participation in the scoping conference with the approval authority and specialist authorities (optional); performance of environmental surveys; preparation of formal environmental documentation for approval. Further technical requirements are detailed in Attachment B.1 Scope of Work. The duration of the contract is not time limited. The estimated duration is 2.5 years, but the works due under the contract may take longer, e.g., if the works are not yet completed because the permit application process takes longer. Das Plangebiet befindet sich im Osten von Wiesbaden, in unmittelbarer Nähe zu den Stadtteilen Erbenheim und Mainz-Kastel und umfasst eine Fläche von rund 450 Hektar. Ziel der Planung ist es, einen ausgewogenen Mix aus bezahlbarem Wohnen, Arbeiten, Freiflächen und Biotopflächen herzustellen. Entstehen soll ein innovativer und zukunftstauglicher Stadtteil mit überwiegender Wohnnutzung und zugleich auch ausreichend Raum für Gewerbe. Die LHW lobte am 15. Juli 2023 gemeinsam mit der Stadtentwicklungsgesellschaft Wiesbaden (SEG) als Entwicklungsträger und Treuhänder der städtebaulichen Entwicklungsmaßnahme Ostfeld einen europaweiten offenen zweiphasigen städtebaulichen und landschaftsplanerischen Ideenwettbewerb als kooperatives Verfahren aus. Die Stadtverordnetenversammlung (STVV) der LHW hat mit Beschluss vom 3. Juli 2025 bestätigt, dass der durch das Preisgericht gekürte Entwurf des 1. Preisträgers Studio Wessendorf mit DLA Die Landschaftsarchitekten Bittkau- Bartfelder PartGmbB für den Bereich "Landschaftsraum/Stadtquartier" die Grundlage für die zu erarbeitende Rahmenplanung für den gesamten Entwicklungsbereich der SEM Ostfeld bildet. Im nächsten Schritt wird eine Rahmenplanung aufbauend auf dem Siegerentwurf für den Bereich "Landschaftsraum/Stadtquartier" in einem iterativen Prozess aus verschiedenen Fachdisziplinen erarbeitet.
