The work requires technical, legal, economic and organisational clarifications. The work shall give the health regions a comprehensive picture of the consequences, risks, costs and gains from any change of supplier, as well as form the basis for the further procurement strategy. The objective is to enter into a framework agreement. The pumps shall function as containers/packaging for medicines, ensuring uniform and controlled release with a fixed infusion rate, be free-standing and not use electronic equipment. They shall be usable for administering cytostatica, antibiotics (including citrate buffer preparations), and pain relief including palliative treatment. The pumps shall be suitable for long term infusion (30 minutes to several days), easy to administer, and suitable for health institutions and home care.
