Extension of NIMIS (National Integrated Medical Imaging System) for a period of 12 months. The HSE’s NIMIS solution is an integrated RIS/PACS solution which operates successfully in 45 acute hospitals and 43 satellite and community hospitals. The NIMIS Programme continues to deliver substantial benefits across the Health Service especially to the health care facilities that have deployed the NIMIS solution. Radiology and other NIMIS imaging departments have been transformed from a paper and film-based set of processes to a digital environment. The NIMIS system is now a mission critical system for those sites operating the solution. The extension of a 12-month duration will provide an opportunity for the HSE to explore options for appropriate longer-term contractual arrangements.

The Agency for Finance and Management was established 1 January 2026 and took over, among other things, assignments that were previously in the Collection Agency. The receivables area handles different types of municipal requirements on behalf of districts, departments, municipal companies and city council departments. A new system must therefore be able to interact between several entities and systems and facilitate efficient work processes, good integrations and an overall management of the recovery process. Irish Blood Transfusion ServiceDublinHRIS and Maintenance with critical interdependencies on other corporate systems, Quality, IT, Finance, H&S. This system was procured 3three years ago. Now because of its critical interdendences of other interal systems. A third party maintaining People XD for the IBTS could introduce the risk of invalidating warranty and/or breaching indemnification clauses for which the IBTS would be liable if there were a subsequent system crash or data breach. A third party may need to reverse-engineer custom API integrations or historical bespoke development undertaken by the incumbant for the IBTS, which would mean further and unnecessary technical redevelopment, cost and duplication. The incumbant is already deeply integrated into the IBTS strict compliance framework (e,g, GDPR,SOC II, ISO). Transitioning maintenance to a new party were it feasible, would expose the entire database and pipeline to a new entity. This would create an unnecessary vulnerability to sensitive data, payroll disruption, compromising operational continuity.
