The School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering requires the procurement of a Gas Chromatography–Mass Spectrometry (GC/MS) system to support the analysis of volatile and semi-volatile compounds generated from the thermal decomposition and combustion of solid fuels and related materials. The system will form part of an integrated analytical capability under the PEACEPLUS Clean Air project, supporting research, method development, and future accredited testing activity. The primary function of the GC/MS system is to enable qualitative and quantitative analysis of evolved gases and combustion products, including volatile organic compounds, oxygenated species, and other trace emissions relevant to air quality and fuel characterisation. The system must be capable of operating as a standalone analytical platform and must also be compatible with a separately procured thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) system for evolved gas analysis workflows. The specification therefore includes requirements for interfacing, gas transfer, and handling of low-concentration, transient species.

Education Procurement Service (EPS)LimerickDublin City University (DCU) request the supply, delivery, installation, commissioning and calibration of a Correlative Optical Tweezers-Fluorescence System. The correlative optical tweezers-fluorescence system will be a keystone asset in DCU's research inventory. The instrument will combine optical tweezers and fluorescence microscopy for detailed measurement, visualisation and analysis of biomolecular behaviour. The system will enable a detailed study of small molecule interactions with macromolecular substrates, including nucleic acids, peptides, and lipids, specifically allowing for force measurements indicative of stability and conformation, while also providing microscopy confirmation of conformational changes, binding, and/or other perturbations. Such data will facilitate the development of new therapeutics at DCU.PQQ for the Design, Supply, Installation and Commissioning of a Flue Gas Abatement System at Medite Europe DAC
Medite Europe DACClonmelFrist: 26. JuniMEDITE Europe DAC is invites expressions of interest from experienced and qualified companies for the design, supply, installation and commissioning of a flue gas abatement system and associated ancillaries for a biomass boiler installation. A system will be required to treat the boiler flue gas stream and reduce particulate emissions in order to support safe, reliable and compliant plant operation. The proposed solution shall be suitable for the defined operating conditions, including flue gas flow, temperature, moisture content and dust loading, and shall be capable of integration with the existing boiler, draft system, stack and plant control infrastructure. The scope is expected to include, as applicable, the main abatement equipment, inlet and outlet ductwork interfaces, support steelwork, access platforms, insulation, ash collection and discharge arrangements, instrumentation, controls, electrical integration, and all associated ancillaries necessary for a complete and operable system. The system should be designed to achieve the required emissions performance while maintaining acceptable pressure drop, operability, maintainability and safe access for inspection and maintenance. The proposed equipment must be of proven industrial technology and conform to best practice design principles and all relevant European legislation and standards, including CE marking where applicable. The successful contractor shall be expected to undertake detailed engineering, equipment manufacture and supply, delivery to site, erection, testing, commissioning, performance verification, operator training and handover of the complete system, together with the provision of all relevant drawings, manuals and technical documentation. It is anticipated that this pre-qualification process will be followed by technical proposal evaluation and a subsequent detailed tendering stage for the selected bidders. The Supply, Delivery, Installation and Commissioning of classroom furniture for use in schools and centres for Donegal Education and Training Board

University of Galway (ID 1400)GalwayFrist: 23. JuliUniversity of Galway invites tenders for the Supply, Delivery, Installation and Commissioning of a High-Resolution Research grade X-ray Fluorescence (XRF) Core Scanner The Discipline of Geography, within the School of Geography, Archaeology and Irish Studies at the University of Galway is actively engaged in research relating to sedimentary archives, including lake, marine, and peat cores, which are critical for reconstructing past environmental and climatic conditions. These research activities require high-resolution, non-destructive analytical techniques to characterise elemental composition and stratigraphy. The acquisition of an XRF core scanner will significantly enhance the Discipline’s analytical capabilities, supporting existing research programmes and enabling new avenues of investigation in environmental and archaeological sciences. The XRF core scanner system is required for the non-destructive analysis of drill cores and wet sediment cores, with elemental detection spanning magnesium (Mg) to uranium (U). The system will be used for advanced research applications in geoscience, environmental science, and related disciplines. The investment in this equipment aligns with the University of Galway’s strategic priorities in sustainability, climate action, and research excellence, and will contribute to strengthening interdisciplinary collaboration within the School and across the wider research community.
