Supply of 3 Building Management Systems to TUS Midwest
Proposals are sought for the design, supply, installation, integration, testing, commissioning, training, documentation for a new open-protocol Building Management System (BMS) at TUS Clare Street Campus, Limerick, TUS Thurles campus and TUS Clonmel Campus. All of the the BMS systems must be controlled remotely and need to have access to the network from Moylish campus. The works shall be completed in accordance with all applicable standards, including electrical regulations, manufacturer requirements, and site specific policies. 1 piece: 300mm fully automated high resolution in-line CD and overlay (IZM-133.1) The following equipment specification defines the requirements for a fully automated metrology tool to measure overlay and critical dimension (CD) structures on 300 mm and 200 mm wafers, produced using laser direct imaging (LDI) and i-line lithography. This investment expands the metrology capability for automated measurement of smaller feature sizes. The tool is essential for non-destructive characterization of highly integrated, chiplet-based 2.5D/3D and quasi-monolithic package architectures with sub-micrometer feature sizes. The equipment is compatible with 3D wafer stacks exhibiting high warp/bow. Wafer substrates are silicon and/or glass, with thicknesses up to 2.5 mm. Before processing, wafers are delivered to the tool in front-opening unified pods (FOUPs), which the operator manually places on the respective load ports. The new tool must be able to perform the following sequence of steps fully automatically: - Load designated wafers from the FOUP(s) - Execute metrology tasks - Return wafers to their original positions in the FOUP(s) Recipe programming must support a sufficiently wide range of options and parameters to meet research and development (R&D) needs. It is required that the equipment continuously performs the intended functions without interruptions or failures, in accordance with all requirements specified in this document. 1. Background and purpose The project includes completion of ongoing construction work on county road 60 between Blindheim and Flisnes, after the former contractor has gone bankrupt. The aim of the project is to complete planned traffic safety measures and ensure that the facility is completed in accordance with the approved plans and technical requirements. County road 60 is an important main thoroughfare in the area, both as a local access road and as a thoroughfare to the ferry route Magerholm–Sykkylven. Stage machinery Studioscenen
The tender contest is for the replacement of the upper stage machinery at Studioscenen at Dansens hus in Oslo, according to the Technical Specification. The current system is nearing the end of its lifetime. In addition, the system is limited in functionality, lacks positioning and load monitoring, and does not meet the current security requirements. Other targets for the upgrade include: * Several options/points for suspension. * Simple changes and shorter restructuring time between productions. * Better working environment. It shall not be necessary to use a lift to move hoists or suspension points. * Possibilities for movement during performances. The project consists of two parts: 1. Construction work consisting primarily of changes to the steel structure in the roof as well as moving building technical installations. 2. Engineering design, production and installation of the stage machinery. Each project part is a turnkey contract where the turnkey contractor has the full responsibility for engineering design, planning, production, installation, testing, training and documentation. This competition is for project part 2, delivery of the stage machinery. The planned solution is based on a system with traditional stage features with the addition of point stretches. There will be up to 16 stage covers, 2 side covers and 4 courts for a variable number of concentrated stretches. The pulley rods are to be carried by four steel wires or steel band. A steel construction dedicated to the stage machinery will be installed by another contractor. The existing HEA beams will be disassembled. Eight new beams will be assembled in the hall ́s longitudinal direction, placed so that four are used for stage stretches and four for concentrated stretches and/or other temporary equipment. The machinery will be located above the balcony on one side of the stage. A dividing wall will be set up to create an engine room and screen for sound between the winches and the stage. The entire system, including the pulleys and control system with security functions, shall be constructed in accordance with the norm NO-EN 17206 "Event technology, machinery for stages and other production areas, Safety requirements and inspections". The installation shall fulfil relevant EU directives, including directives for machines, low voltage and EMC. Development of relevant planning tools for water security and climate resilience in Urban Areas in Tanzania (Output 2 and Output 3 of ProWaS)
GIZ has been commissioned to implement the project "Water Security and Climate Resilience for Urban Areas and their Catchments in Tanzania (ProWaS)" in Tanzania on behalf of the German Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). The Overall Objective of the project is the sustainable improvement of the population"s access to drinking water and sanitation services, as well as the management of water resources. GIZ"s political implementation partner is the Ministry of Water, and coordination subnational entities such as Basin Water Boards, Catchment Committees, Water Supply and Sanitation Authorities, and Local Government Authorities is also key to the project methodology. As part of the process to achieve universal access to water as envisioned in the Tanzania Development Vision 2025, water sector stakeholders, guided by the Ministry of Water, have introduced three instruments as part of the Water Sector Development Programme: (1) Joint Town-level Master Planning (JTPs): Assist Water Supply and Sanitation Authorities (WSSAs) and Local Government Authorities (LGAs) to coordinate joint planning and investment decisions to improve access to water and sanitation; (2) Water Safety Planning (WSPs): Guide WSSAs to identify risks (in particular climate-change) affecting water quality and quantity and develop mitigation measures to address these risks via a participatory approach; (3) Water Allocation Planning (WAPs): Guide Basin Water Boards (BWBs) to make equitable allocations of water resources for different water users and the environment. The JTPs and CR-WSPs are among the key performance indicators for Water Supply and Sanitation Authorities (WSSAs) in Tanzania and the WAPs are among the key performance indicators for BWBs in Tanzania. The Ministry of Water has requested the Federal German Government through ProWaS to upscale the JTPs and CR-WSPs to more urban areas and WSSAs as well as create new WAPs in Tanzania. The contractor will on behalf of the ProWaS project create 3 JTPs, and 3 WAPs in accordance with the respective guidelines prepared by the Ministry of Water. The CR-WSPs are not in the scope of this contract. This will require close coordination with the GIZ Project Team in Tanzania as well as National, Regional, and Local Tanzanian water authorities. The JTPs are defined by the municipality (i.e. town) in a particular region, while the WAPs are defined by the basin and the sub-catchment. A team of national and international experts shall be provided by the Contractor for this purpose. Through the completion of the three aforementioned Work Packages, the contractor is responsible for contributing to the Module Objective, Output 2, Output Indicator 2.2, and Output 3 and is responsible for achieving Module objective Indicator 3 and Output indicator 2.1 as described in this document. The Module Objective is, "The framework for improving water security in catchments of urban areas is adapted to the challenges of climate change." Output 2 is as follows: "Water and sanitation authorities, in collaboration with local consultants, have identified priority projects to improve access to climate-resilient water and sanitation services." It is accompanied by the following two indicators: Indicator 2.1: Fifteen JTPs have been drawn up by WSSA together with Local Government Authorities (base value of 5 JTPs exist, 7 others to be completed by project, three remaining to be completed by the contractor); Indicator 2.2 : In a survey, 16/30 stakeholders from Water Supply and Sanitation Authorities (WSSAs) and the MoW confirm the use of the gender-sensitive expert database in the development of JTPs, Water Safety Plans, and priority projects to improve access to climate-resilient water supply and sanitation services (16 positive responses). In addition, Module Objective Indicator 3 is as follows, "Water catchment authorities (3 total) have developed an evidence-based gender-sensitive Water Allocation Plan (WAP) in each selected sub-catchment (3 sub-catchments), based on current, climate-resilient hydrological data." Work Package 1 relates to Output 2 and the two corresponding indicators. The International Power-to-X Hub supports the transition to climate-neutral industries and economies by advancing sustainable Power-to-X solutions in sectors where direct electrification is not yet feasible, especially aviation, maritime transport and energy-intensive industries. The project is implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft fuer Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Climate Action, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMUKN). It is financed through the International Climate Initiative as part of Germany"s hydrogen and Power-to-X policy framework. Power-to-X enables the production of fuels and chemical feedstocks from renewable electricity and sustainable carbon or nitrogen sources and therefore helps replace fossil-based inputs while supporting climate protection, industrial transformation and sustainable economic development. The subject of this tender is providing technical support for the development of up to three Power-to-Liquid pilot plants in up to three countries. The assignment provides up to three industrial partner companies with customised engineering documents and advisory services to advance PtL pilot plant projects to FEED/EPC tendering stage. The requested services cover the full project development pathway from concept definition and selection through comparative techno-economic feasibility assessment and conceptual engineering to advice on procurement and tender strategy and, where required, support for the preparation of functional FEED/EPC tender documents. The contract is structured into four work packages in two implementation steps. In Work Packages A and B, the contractor shall review existing concepts and documentation, consult each partner, refine or propose PtL plant concepts, advise on feedstock and utility sourcing, process technologies, offtake markets, regulation and certification, conduct kick-off meetings and site visits, and prepare Concept and Site Analysis Reports with comparative assessments and recommendations. The contractor shall also deliver partner trainings and prepare comparative techno-economic feasibility studies for up to two plant concepts per partner, including a book of assumptions, process simulation, technical descriptions, preliminary process flow diagrams, equipment sizing, interface definitions, certification compliance assessment, CAPEX and OPEX estimates, economic modelling, risk analysis and concept recommendations. Preliminary results shall be discussed with each partner in an interactive workshop to validate assumptions, review trade-offs and support concept selection. Subject to confirmation by the partner and GIZ, Work Package C covers FEL-2 conceptual engineering for the selected concept and a refined Class 4 AACE cost estimate. This includes advisory support on site development, permitting and certification, preparation of an integrated project execution plan, partner trainings on PtL process simulation and plant engineering, and an FEL-2 engineering package comprising Basis of Design specifications, process descriptions, drawings, equipment lists, preliminary equipment specifications, interface and battery limit definitions, input and output specifications, and QA/QC and HSE requirements. The engineering work shall be carried out in close coordination with the partner and GIZ and shall include advice on technology and licensor options as well as updated CAPEX estimates, economic models and key project indicators. Where sustainable CO2 supply is not readily available, the services may also include, for one project, the screening of potential sustainable carbon sources and the design of a CCU system including FEL-1 engineering package and CAPEX assessment. In a subsequent stage, the contractor shall advise on FEED/EPC procurement and tender strategy and, where required, prepare the functional tender specifications, including design basis, technical and performance specifications, scope of supply and services, site and utility information, HSE and QA/QC requirements and project schedule elements in line with the partner"s procurement framework and international standards. The contractor shall also provide advice on commercial and legal terms during tender preparation. For one partner, the services may further include support during the FEED/EPC tendering process, including bidder communication, clarification support, qualification and bid evaluation assistance, preparation of evaluation notes and support during negotiations. Throughout implementation, the contractor shall also provide cross-cutting knowledge exchange, monitoring, reporting, backstopping and coordination services.
