The Geological Survey of Finland seeks to procure a flowmeter probe, a caliper probe, a wireline winch, and all required control units, cables, software, and accessories necessary to operate a complete downhole logging system. The primary use of this equipment is hydrogeological characterization of fractured bedrock through deep groundwater-filled boreholes. The equipment must be suitable for professional scientific use in demanding field conditions and compatible with deep boreholes with diameters of 56 mm and 76 mm. See the minimum requirements in the section Criteria for the object of procurement. Hankinnan kohteena on porareikämittausjärjestelmä, joka koostuu virtausmittausluotaimesta, kaliperiluotaimesta ja kaapelivinssistä sekä kaikista laitteiston käyttöön tarvittavista ohjausyksiköistä, kaapeleista, ohjelmistoista ja lisävarusteista. Laitteistoa käytetään ruhjeisen kallioperän hydrogeologiseen karakterisointiin syvissä, pohjavedellä täyttyneissä porarei’issä. Laitteiston tulee soveltua ammattimaiseen tieteelliseen käyttöön vaativissa kenttäolosuhteissa ja olla yhteensopiva 56 mm ja 76 mm halkaisijaltaan olevien porareikien kanssa (halkaisijat ovat täsmällisiä). In NanoIC, Tyndall’s flexibility into materials integration will allow for rapid, short-cycle screening to reduce the cycle time in identifying and integrating highly performing materials to carry forward into IC development. Our role is to provide agile wafer scale nanofabrication and processing beyond silicon for the integration of selected new materials – Transition Metal Dichalcogenides (TMDs) and oxide semiconductor (OSC) – and FET device architectures. The NanoIC teams at Tyndall will synthesize thin film TMDs and OSCs and will fabricate and test a wide range of materials and devices. Other activities may include compound semiconductors devices, wide band gap materials, photonic, magnetic or ferroelectric materials. The electrical properties and performance of these materials/devices are of significant importance. Consequently, a multi-function 300mm Electro-Magneto-Optical Probe Station (Lot 1) is required to study the electrical properties of these materials and devices under a range of temperature conditions.
