Diese Abfälle sollen ab Anfang 45. KW oder 46. KW 2026 zum Müllheizkraftwerk Coburg transportiert und dort thermisch behandelt werden. Der Zweckverband für Abfallwirtschaft in Nordwest-Oberfranken beabsichtigt, die hierfür erforderlichen Leistungen (Materialaufnahme, Transport zum MHKW Coburg-Neuses, Abladen am MHKW) im Zuge einer Verhandlungsvergabe zu vergeben.
