Ziel ist die Übertragung von Audio- und Echtzeitdaten zwischen zukünftigen S-Zügen und Zentralsystemen. Zwei Verträge sind aktiv, der dritte ist konditioniert und wird nur aktiviert, wenn zwei Mobilnetze nicht ausreichen. Es wird gefordert, dass die Anbieter nicht dasselbe Mobilnetz nutzen, um Redundanz und stabilen Betrieb bei Ausfall eines Netzes zu gewährleisten.
