26/034 - A Qualification System for the provision of Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Operation and Maintenance Services for the Strategic Gas Emergency ReserveDeadline: Aug 06Gas Networks Ireland (GNI) is establishing a Qualification System for the provision of Engineering, Procurement, Construction (EPC) works and services (Lot 1) and Operation and Maintenance (O and M) services (Lot 2) for the Strategic Gas Emergency Reserve (SGER). Lot 1: EPC is for the engineering, procurement, and construction works and services to complete infrastructure assets including but not limited the jetty, trestle, topside structures, pipelines, above ground installation (AGI), integration with FSRU, onshore terminal systems, related ancillary and enabling utilities to site and the management of nominated subcontractor(s) who, will be appointed for the EPC period to ensure the Lot 1 works meet the service output requirements, along with a subsequent period of three years from completion of commissioning to undertake the operation and maintenance services. Lot 2: O and M is for operation and maintenance services in relation to jetty, trestle, topside structures, pipelines, integration with FSRU, onshore terminal systems that may be required from time to time to facilitate the operation of the SGER. The Lot 2 contractor will be novated to the Lot 1 contractor for the duration of the EPC period, commissioning and defects correction period to ensure the Lot 1 works meet service output requirements, with a subsequent three-year operation and maintenance period commencing from completion of commissioning. A further O and M period of up to five years is anticipated following completion of the initial period.
