The overall objective of Tenancy Sustainment Services/Housing Support Service is to provide support to households that are homeless, or at risk of becoming homeless, in order to assist them to occupy (or continue) to occupy their accommodation and progress from homelessness or potential homelessness towards independent sustainable living. This will involve home visits by the Tenancy Sustainment Service/Housing Support Service Project Workers whose role will be to support households and signpost and facilitate access to mainstream services. The Tenancy Sustainment/Housing Support services will not duplicate, replace or overlap with other relevant services but will assist in accessing such services.
