Die Verwaltung von Benutzeridentitäten und Zugriffsrechten erfolgt derzeit teilweise dezentral und systembezogen. Zur Verbesserung der Steuerung von Identitäten und Berechtigungen wird im Rahmen eines IAM-Projektes eine zentrale Struktur zur Verwaltung digitaler Identitäten aufgebaut. Ziel des IAM-Projektes ist die Einführung eines zentralen IAM-Services zur Verwaltung digitaler Identitäten sowie zur strukturierten und rollenbasierten Vergabe von Berechtigungen auf Anwendungen und Systeme. Dazu soll eine IAM-Governance Struktur aufgebaut sowie eine technische IAM-Lösung eingeführt und ausgerollt werden Konkret bedeutet dies die Weiterentwicklung von IAM-Prozessen, die Ausgestaltung eines Rollen- und Berechtigungsmodells, die Einführung einer zentralen IAM-Lösung sowie Integration von Anwendungen (ab Q3 2027) und die Vorbereitung organisatorischer Strukturen für den zukünftigen Betrieb des IAM-Services.
