Das Vorhaben unterstützt die dt. Präsidentschaft der Alpenkonvention (2027-2028) durch Umsetzung des Alpine Biodiversity Action Plans, insbesondere der Säule „Wiederherstellung“. Ziel ist die strategisch koordinierte Planung von Wiederherstellungsmaßnahmen auf alpenweiter Ebene, verknüpft mit globalen Biodiversitätszielen (Ziel 2) und der EU-Verordnung zur Wiederherstellung der Natur. Es bündelt politische Rahmenbedingungen (nationale Wiederherstellungspläne von DE, FR, IT, SI, AT sowie Biodiversitätsstrategien von CH, LI, MC). Eine Synthese gibt Überblick über Planungsstand, Ziele, Lücken und Synergien. Tiefergehende Analysen für zwei alpine Ökosysteme, Expert*innendialoge, Identifikation von Finanzierungsmöglichkeiten. Kommunikationsmaßnahmen zur Integration in nationale und subnationale Prozesse.
