Ein wesentlicher Bestandteil der Streckenausrüstung sind Eurobalisen. Ziel dieser Ausschreibung ist die Auswahl eines strategischen Vertragspartners (Single Source), der die langfristige Verfügbarkeit der Eurobalisen sowie den technischen Support über den gesamten Produktlebenszyklus für die ETCS Levels 1 und 2 sicherstellt. Der Auftrag umfasst einen Rahmenwerkvertrag für die Lieferung von Hardware sowie einen Service- und Supportvertrag. Hardware Lieferung von Eurobalisen für ETCS Levels 1 und 2 einschliesslich Befestigungsmaterial, Gleisanschlüssen, Balisendeaktivierungsvorrichtungen sowie Programmier- und Prüfeinrichtungen.
