Material wird gemäß DepV, EBV und Leitfaden LVGBT in Zuordnungsklassen (Z 0 bis > Z 2) oder Materialklassen eingestuft. Leistung umfasst Transport von Bereitstellungsflächen im Stadtgebiet und schadlose Entsorgung (Verwertung/Deponie) in zugelassenen Anlagen. Enthält auch Entsorgung gefährlicher Abfälle (z. B. AVV 17 05 03*). Auftragnehmer übernimmt Pflichten des Abfallerzeugers gemäß § 22 KrWG.
