UNESCO invites eligible national and international construction companies to submit a bid for the execution of urgent repairs and rehabilitation works in the garden and perimeter walls of the House of Scientists in Odesa, Ukraine, in accordance with the present solicitation documents. The works include: repair/execution of finishing layers on the garden-facing side of the perimeter walls; repair of the drainage system; repair/reintegration of external flooring; reconstruction of damaged inner and outer balustrades; installation of a temporary metal structure; and temporary stabilization of one of the entrances to the garden from the external street. The anticipated time for completion of the works is 5 calendar months from the date of the Notice to Proceed. UNESCO will organize a site visit to the House of Scientists, 4 Sabaneev Bridge, Odesa, Odesa Oblast, 65000, as follows: Date: 21 August 2026 Time: 11:00 local time The site visit will be followed by a clarification meeting providing additional information on the bidding process and the required works. Participation in the site visit is not mandatory but is strongly encouraged, in order to enable bidders to familiarize themselves with the site conditions and reduce the risk of submitting a non-compliant bid. Bidders wishing to participate in the site visit shall register by sending an email to [email protected] no later than 19 August 2026. Each bidder shall bear its own costs related to participation in the site visit and clarification meeting. Interested bidders are encouraged to request the full solicitation documents by contacting [email protected]. The purpose of this notice is to provide general information on the requirements for the procurement process and to inform interested suppliers how to apply to the invitation to bid.
