Sie ist verantwortlich für die Realisierung sowie für die Abstimmung zwischen Bauherrschaft, Planern, Bauleitungen und Unternehmern. Im Bereich BSA (Betriebs- und Sicherheitsausrüstung) koordiniert die OBL zusätzlich technische Systeme wie Tunneltechnik, Energieversorgung, Signalisation oder Leitsysteme und begleitet Tests sowie Inbetriebnahmen. Dafür braucht es fundierte technische Kenntnisse, Erfahrung im Projektmanagement sowie ein gutes Verständnis der ASTRA-Richtlinien und SIA-Normen.
