REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST 1. The United Nations Organization Stabilization Mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (MONUSCO), seeks Expression of Interest (EOI) from duly registered companies for the Supply and Delivery of LED Lights to MONUSCO Entebbe Support Base, Uganda. 2. MONUSCO will undertake a competitive bidding exercise shortly for the establishment of a contract for an initial period of one (01) year, with an option to extend for two additional one-year period, i.e., (1+1+1), at the discretion of MONUSCO and accordingly intends to issue solicitation documents to those companies who would express their interest. The interested companies are requested to complete UN Vendor registration form, preferably for Level 1 in the vendor database accessible at www.ungm.org. 3. The EOI should specify brief relevant information about the company including the company's profile, capacity/capability and experience. Interested vendors must provide the following documents with their response. - Copy of the registration certificate/license (s) of the company. 4. The supplier shall provide to MONUSCO at the time of submitting his bid, the complete brochure of the proposed equipment with specifications: 1. All items shall operate continuously on a 230 V single phase, 50 Hz supply, tolerating voltage variation of plus or minus 10% and frequency variation of plus or minus 5%. Power factor shall be not less than 0.90 at full load, with surge protection of 4 kV line to earth, or 10 kV for street lights and floodlights. 2. All items shall be supplied complete with drivers, tubes or lamps, brackets, fixings and gaskets, requiring no additional parts to become operational. 3. All items shall comply with IEC 60598, IEC 61547, IEC 61000-3-2 Class C and IEC 62471, and shall be CE marked, RoHS compliant and mercury free.

UN SecretariatKenyaDeadline: Sep 02The United Nations Procurement Division (UNPD) invites qualified and experienced firms to submit proposals for the design, fabrication, and delivery of ten (10) LED retrofit modules intended for existing Metal Halide and Tungsten Halogen downlight and directional fixtures installed in the General Assembly Hall of the United Nations Headquarters (UNHQ), located at 405 East 42nd Street, New York, NY. The project encompasses the development and manufacture of prototype retrofit modules, including all necessary engineering and testing, as well as the subsequent production of approved units in accordance with the United Nations' design, performance, and installation requirements. The retrofit solution must maintain the aesthetic and lighting characteristics of the existing fixtures while improving energy efficiency, reliability, and maintainability. The retrofit modules must be installed into box housing with top relamp lid. Duration: The prototype LED retrofit modules shall be designed, manufactured, delivered, and submitted for review and approval no later than November 2026. Subject to successful prototype evaluation and approval by the United Nations, full-scale production is anticipated to commence in January 2027 and continue through June 2027, following a phased implementation.
