Subject and scope of the RFI:Paul Scherrer Institute is the largest research institute for natural and engineering sciences in Switzerland. It is the central hub for Switzerland’s large-scale research facilities. As part of the ETH Domain, PSI is a key pillar of the Swiss research landscape and conducts cutting-edge research in the fields of future technologies, energy and climate, health innovation, and the fundamentals of nature.PSI is currently preparing a potential procurement of analog-to-digital converter components for upgrades of beam position measurement systems used at PSI accelerator facilities.The current known requirement concerns approximately 620 pieces of the following Texas Instruments component: Manufacturer Part Number (MPN): ADS54J69IRMPT Current estimated allocation:SLS: approximately 400 piecesHIPA: approximately 220 piecesA possible additional requirement for SwissFEL is still under assessment. Purpose of the RFI:The purpose of this RFI is to clarify the market situation, availability, packaging quantities, production lot traceability, delivery options, export-control information and commercial conditions relevant for determining the appropriate procurement procedure.
