Die Sanierung des historischen Rathauses in Trossingen umschließt die komplette Erneuerung der Haustechnik, die Errichtung neuer Sanitärräume, Ertüchtigung der Barrierefreiheit mit einer neuen Aufzugsanlage, Ertüchtigung des Brandschutzes und Überarbeitung aller Oberflächen und Fenster. Insgesamt werden 21 Einzel- und Gruppenbüros mit den dazugehörigen Nebenräumen und Erschließungsflächen saniert. Die Erweiterung des Rathauses ist ein geplanter Neubau, der direkt an das historische Rathaus anschließt und im Erdgeschoss verbunden wird. Der 4-geschössige Baukörper des Neubaus, ist teilunterkellert und in in STB-Bauweise geplant. Der neue Anbau verfügt über 34 Einzel- und Gruppenbüros, 3 Großraumbüros, mehrere Besprechungsräume, sowie einen Saal für Gemeinderatssitzungen.
