Turun Raitiotie Oy planteará la compra de tranvías para la línea entre el puerto de Turku y Varissuo. El tráfico comercial de pasajeros se estima que comenzará a principios de la década de 2030. La adquisición busca la solución de material más rentable. Se enfatizan los bajos costos del ciclo de vida, la experiencia del pasajero, la adecuación a los objetivos de la ciudad, el mantenimiento y la alta disponibilidad. La línea mide 12 km, incluye conexión de depósito y subestaciones eléctricas. Se invita a los proveedores a un diálogo de mercado en marzo-abril de 2026 para comentar especificaciones técnicas preliminares y servicios de mantenimiento.
