Die Sammlung beschränkt sich pro Jahr auf 2 Wochen im Januar. Die benötigte Leistung „Sammlung, Beladung und Transport von Weihnachtsbäumen in Spitzenzeiten mit Pressfahrzeugen“ wird auf eine Gesamtstundenzahl je Sammeljahr von ca. 1.200 geschätzt. Der AG beabsichtigt mit mehreren Bietern eine Rahmenvereinbarung abzuschließen.
