The contract is for winter maintenance in Bjerkvik and the surrounding area, primarily at Elvegårdsmoen. Winter maintenance at Skoddeberg is separated into a separate contract. The contract will be valid for 2 years from 01.09.2026, or from the signing date if this occurs later. The contract can be extended by the contracting authority for 1+1+1 year. The agreement has a maximum duration of five years from the start date, including extensions. The contracting authority reserves the right to cancel the competition if there is a justifiable reason, e.g. if planned financing is withdrawn or lacks approval from political or military quarters.

OFA IKSGJERSTADGjerstad municipality shall enter into framework agreements for winter maintenance on municipal roads. The framework agreement is for the hire of tractors and possibly other machines with drivers for snow clearing and clearing municipal roads/open spaces. Winter operations mainly comprise routine operational assignments, stand-by assignments and reports to the contracting authority. The term operational assignments includes snow clearing and gritting of roads, car parks and foot paths/pavements etc. It is the tenderer ́s responsibility to ensure that winter maintenance is carried out in accordance with the current service level (self-call-out) in accordance with the current requirements. The contracting authority has the right to call out the tenderer to perform services under the contract when he sees a need for this or finds this appropriate. For further information on the contents of the procurement, please refer to part 2 Annex 1 with sub-annex. The procurement is divided into two lots. This sub-contract is for lot 1 - Fiane, Brokelandsheia and Gjerstad.
