Tender description
The chipper will be used to crush wood collected on the turbine grids of the "Đerdap 1" hydroelectric plant. The collected wood is stored at a landfill 4 km downstream from the "Đerdap 1" hydropower plant. The chipper must be mounted on a trailer to be connected to a truck and driven to the landfill. At the landfill, the wood is crushed and then transported to the multi-day warehouse of the "Pemci 1" heating plant, which uses wood chips as an energy source for the production of thermal energy.

Mjelstad (referred to as BIR) shall, in connection with the expansion of the landfill site, procure a new treatment facility forige water that occurs as a result of precipitation hitting and going through the landfill. BIR shall ensure that the area and building is established where the treatment plant shall be constructed. Tenderers of the treatment plant must be responsible for the complete delivery of treatment facilities with all the accompanying equipment that is necessary for operation, as well as assembly, commissioning and training. This is further described in the tender documentation. It is important for BIR to get sufficient information about the treatment facility to facilitate with the correct dimensioned building. BIR shall procure the pumps that shall deliver ladder water to the treatment facility and from the pump sump after the treatment plant to the recipient. It is important that BIR receives information about the interface and sets the dimensions of the treatment plant as the basis for pump capacity. As described later in KG, the landfill does not have a buffer basin and the treatment plant must be able to handle frequent changes in flow into the treatment facility based on a water level in the pump sump. Flow meters in and out of the treatment facility, in addition to flow meters on pump pipelines out to the recipient, must be delivered by the tenderer. The pump intake shall increase the signal from the treatment plant and the treatment plant shall adjust automatically to the level meters in the sump. BIR ensures that pumps are delivered in a pump sump that is controlled by a frequency transformer. The pumps will therefore communicate with the treatment plant ́s PLC, which shall be delivered by the tenderer. Economic operators can apply for the Lot(s) that best reflect their commercial operations. Economic operators must complete a PQQ for the Lot(s) that they wish to qualify to. Only economic operators who satisfy the selection criteria of each individual Lot will qualify on to that Lot. After the initial advertisement, the panel must be advertised annually for the duration of the panel (5 years) to continually inform the market place of its existence. Economic Operators can apply to qualify on to the panel, throughout the duration of the panel. Economic Operators who are already qualified to the panel can also amend their application at any interval should their financial or technical capacity or capability change. Qualifying onto a panel does not guarantee any work and/or contracts to a supplier.
