Tender description
The aim of the procurement is to enter into a contract with one tenderer for a turnkey contract for the construction of a new fire station at Lerstadveien 525 in Ålesund (previously Bertel O. Steen). The project partly includes new buildings and partly renovation and reuse of the existing buildings. A new exit for turn-out vehicles shall be established. The turnkey contract will include several disciplines. The contract is planned for autumn 2026, provided that the contract is awarded and it is signed, cf. Part 0, point 2.1.3. The construction start is planned for week 8 2027, with completion in week 49 2028.

The aim of the contract is to cover the customers ́needs for diving services in Ålesund municipality, in accordance with the requirement specifications. The procurement shall cover the contracting authority ́s ongoing need for diving services, and the diving services shall mainly be used for mapping, on-site inspections, new installations (laying new submarine pipelines) and repairs of water and sewage pipelines in different types of material above and below water. The objective of the procurement is that the receipt and management of waste and subsequent treatment occurs in an efficient and environmentally friendly manner, where the needs of the inhabitants and other customers are safeguarded, and that we contribute to reaching Vesars and the owner municipalities ́ goal of 85 % material recycling by 2035. This is reflected through the absolute requirements, emphasis in award criteria and possibility for innovation and development contracts. Vesar would like to stimulate the use of biogas as a replacement for fossile fuel by transporting the waste fractions and for other types of transport work. The biogas that is used shall preferably originate from production with high net climategas reductions.
