Ausschreibungsgegenstand ist die Erbringung von Leistungen des Portfoliomanagements, Cloud-Services, Energieberatung und Bilanzkreismanagement für den Zweckverband Gasversorgung des Brenztals. Der AG ist ein Energieversorgungsunternehmen (EVU) und tritt nach außen als Lieferant von Energiemengen (Gas und / oder Strom) an Endverbraucher auf. Der AG wird das Portfolio und / oder Bilanzkreismanagement (Gas und / oder Strom) durch den AN dienstleistend durchführen lassen. Der AG bleibt hierbei rechtlich die Vertragspartei für alle energiewirtschaftlichen Beziehungen zu Dritten, wie beispielsweise Netzbetreiber, Lieferanten, Kunden, Marktgebietsverantwortlichen etc. Die Leistungen werden über den AG auch für Dritte, sogenannte SUB-EVU erbracht, die zugleich den Mitgliederkreis bilden.
