1. Introduction OsloBygg KF is considering to procure a digital service for condition based operational monitoring of technical installations in nurseries. The objective of the market survey is to gain better insight into the market and input from suppliers on what systems are available, what can be delivered and how such services can normally be introduced. The market survey is not a competition and the contracting authority is not requesting tenders at this point in time. Participation in the market survey gives no rights or advantages in any later procurement. 2. Provisional need The contracting authority would like input on digital systems that can monitor technical components in nurseries by using sensors, audio analysis, vibration analysis or other relevant measurement parameters. The analysis shall be carried out by KI or ML and it shall automatically alarm in the event of deviations and errors. The system is particularly relevant for: * ventilation aggregates * engines * Fans * Pumps * other relevant technical components The aim of any system is to uncover abnormal operations, errors or wear at an early stage, so that the contracting authority can carry out more targeted and preventive maintenance. The system ought to be able to contribute to better operational security, reduced energy consumption, fewer operational deviations and a better overview of the condition of the technical installations. 3. Input from the market The contracting authority would like general input from suppliers on: * what systems and technologies are available in the market * the types of technical installations and components that can be monitored * if the systems can be used on existing installations without comprehensive reconstruction * how notification, reporting and visualisation normally works * whether the systems can be integrated with MOM systems. * what gains and effects suppliers believe such solutions could provide

These installations are subdivided in the following sections: 1. Technical installations; HVAC, including plumbing, sanitary installations, drainage, water and gas supply; and electricity (HV and LV), lighting, emergency lighting, emergency generators, lightning protection, distribution boards, UPS’s equipotential connections and earthing; 2. Building elements (access, doors, windows, locks, outer walls, external carpentry, wall covering, flooring, ceiling, roof and parking area, gutters,…). These installations are located on the JRC-Geel site. The site has a surface of 38 hectares and contains approximately 20 buildings. Some of the installations are located in controlled areas for radiation protection purposes. This implies that staff working in these areas (including monitoring activities as described here) will need prior approval by a recognised company doctor. All these tasks in the controlled area are also subject to security clearance. The contractor shall foresee the relevant clearances for itself and all subcontractors (if any) that will require access to these areas. In order to audit the performance of the maintenance, as well as to have an objective evaluation of the status of the installations, JRC-Geel wishes to have the status of the technical installations monitored periodically by an independent contractor.
