The purpose of this request for information is to clarify questions, obtain information and preliminary cost estimates related to a comprehensive digital pathology solution to be deployed by Fimlab Laboratoriot Oy (hereinafter “Fimlab” or "Contracting Entity"). This is not a Call for Tenders, but a market consultation; request of information. Fimlab invites interested suppliers to participate in the market consultation and requests their views regarding the planned procurement. The Contracting Entity is not committed to carrying out the procurement referred to in this request for information. Decisions on whether to initiate a possible procurement process will be made after the market consultation. SUBJECT OF THE PROCUREMENT The subject of the procurement is more detailed in annexes. Through this request for information, Fimlab seeks, among other things, to determine to assess the level of documentation and requirements, as well as market trends. RESPONDING TO THE REQUEST FOR INFORMATION Please respond to the questions and to submit the completed attachment via the Supplier Portal. The responses will be used in the preparation of the procurement and in the finalization of the Call for Tenders and its appendices. All responses will be treated confidentially. Information will not be disclosed to other suppliers without written consent for such disclosure. Responses may be submitted in Finnish or English in freeform written format. Respondents are requested to follow the numbering of the questions and to clearly indicate any trade secrets or confidential information. Responding to this request for information will not affect the position of a potential tenderer in any subsequent tender procedure. No remuneration will be paid for participation in the request for information. At this stage, the market consultation is being conducted solely through written submissions. However, the Contracting Entity may, at its discretion, invite participants to further discussions if clarification of the responses or additional information is considered necessary. In this case, the Contracting Entity, may continue supplier-specific discussions with a maximum of 3 suppliers.
