EirGrid maintains an extensive and complex range of enterprise Information Technology (IT) systems, including mission critical IT systems that operate critical national infrastructure. EirGrid are evaluating their operating model in relation to the provision of IT services to both EirGrid and SONI (a group company). Over time this service may be split out to reflect same. EirGrid has a requirement for a fully Managed IT Service Desk which will provide the services listed under the “Scope of Requirements” in the attached PQQ. As IT services are critical in supporting EirGrid’s vital business, the vision is that EirGrid will have access to IT Support Services which are compliant with EirGrid policies and industry best practise standards.
