The AERs have been supplied under framework agreements (FA) and dynamic purchasing systems (DPS) managed by the Health Service Executive (HSE), namely and most recently HSE ref. 20288 for the "Supply and Installation of Endoscopic Decontamination Equipment and its Support and Maintenance". Apart from hardware and continuous comprehensive maintenance, which are provided under the call-off agreements mentioned above, SVUH requires in addition a series of consumables for the full functioning of the systems. These products (process chemicals i.e. detergent combined with peracetic acid or glutaraldehyde, bacterial filters and other items) are not available under the arrangements specified earlier.
