Im Rahmen einer ersten Umgestaltungsmaßnahme wurde bereits ein Teilabschnitt flußaufwärts zwischen Inselstraße, entlang der neuen ´Kranhäuser´ bis zur Taubensteinbrücke fertig gestellt. Im hier beschriebenen Leistungsumfang ist die zweite Umgestaltungsmaßnahme der Freianlagen zwischen Inselstraße und Freibad enthalten (siehe Lageplan 2-5-1-01 Übersichtslageplan BA II im Anlagenverzeichnis)
