Beschaffung eines automatisierten Röntgenphotoelektronenspektrometers (XPS) für die Oberflächenanalyse von Materialien wie Metallen, Holz und Kunststoffen. Einsatzbereiche: Analyse von Beschichtungen, Oberflächenbehandlungen, Grenzflächen und Rohstoffen, v.a. für die Medizintechnik sowie Landwirtschaft, Automobil- und Baubranche. Das System analysiert die äußerste Materialschicht (bis 10 nm) mittels Röntgenbestrahlung und präziser Elementdetektion. Es muss vollautomatisiert sein und Proben unterschiedlicher Form und Material (auch Pulver) verarbeiten können. Zweck: Daten zu Oberflächenveränderungen durch Umwelteinflüsse oder Manipulation, entscheidend für Produktqualität und -leistung in aggressiven Umgebungen.
