Ziel ist die Einrichtung und der Betrieb eines EU-Weltraumwetterdienstes, der alle relevanten Weltraumwetterereignisse und deren Auswirkungen auf Raumfahrzeugbetrieb und SST-Aktivitäten abdeckt. Der Dienst soll europäische Betreiber vor negativen Auswirkungen schützen, Störungen minimieren und SST-Operationen unterstützen. Er umfasst Echtzeitüberwachung, Vorhersagen, Warnungen, Post-Event-Analyse sowie einen Helpdesk mit technischem und fachspezifischem Support.
