Construction and Procurement DeliveryBelfastDeadline: Jul 19The Agri‑Food and Biosciences Institute (AFBI) is one of the world’s leading providers of scientific research and evidence-based services to government, non-governmental, and commercial organisations. With a unique breadth of facilities and multidisciplinary scientific capability spanning agriculture, animal health, food, the environment, biosciences, and economics, AFBI undertakes a wide range of impactful research projects for both the public and private sectors.Funding has been secured through the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB) administered PEACEPLUS scheme to deliver the ACCLIMATISE project, an all-island initiative aimed at developing an integrated marine climate change monitoring and assessment toolbox for the island of Ireland. As part of this programme, AFBI is seeking to procure next‑generation observational technologies capable of monitoring and quantifying changes in plankton communities and associated marine food webs within the Irish Sea. The Fisheries and Aquatic Ecosystems Branch (FAEB) of AFBI requires the procurement of one flow cytometry-based plankton imaging system capable of high resolution imaging, optical triggering, and automated morphological analysis of marine plankton and suspended particulates. Education Procurement Service (EPS)LimerickUniversity College Cork request the supply of an argon recirculating glovebox with integrated deposition tools (Lot 1). The glovebox which will be capable of processing lithium-based battery materials and will integrate materials deposition capability utilizing RF sputtering and evaporation for synthesis and multi-parametric test of liquid, polymer and solid-state systems for energy devices. The equipment will be used for liquid, polymer and all solid-state stacks of energy devices to be fabricated with the interface control giving enhanced energy and power density and device lifetimes. In particular, the RF sputter tool will enable true solid state electrolyte deposition. This integrated research tool will enable analysis of the key role of the interface in the achievement of next generation active materials and electrolyte interactions. The integrated deposition tools will be capable of sequential layer deposition. Compatibility with and ability to process potential future batteries based on more sustainable materials such as sodium and iron will also require such a capability. The deposition suite will also permit advances focussed on integrated magnetic devices including CoFe and CoFeN alloys materials and multilayer films. The integrated system will include ALD processing capability of the Plasma enhanced Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD) Tool (Lot 2) as interface engineering and control are key to the development of the tailored energy materials for electrode and electrolyte enhancement in batteries, supercapacitors and PV devicesCFT - 260187 Supply, Delivery (unloaded and positioned at the point of use), Installation, Commissioning, Training, Warranty and Maintenance of a GC\MS System for Analysis of Evolved Gases and Combustion Products from Solid Fuels - PEACEPLUS Funded
Finance Directorate - Queen's University BelfastBelfastDeadline: Aug 12The School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering requires the procurement of a Gas Chromatography–Mass Spectrometry (GC/MS) system to support the analysis of volatile and semi-volatile compounds generated from the thermal decomposition and combustion of solid fuels and related materials. The system will form part of an integrated analytical capability under the PEACEPLUS Clean Air project, supporting research, method development, and future accredited testing activity. The primary function of the GC/MS system is to enable qualitative and quantitative analysis of evolved gases and combustion products, including volatile organic compounds, oxygenated species, and other trace emissions relevant to air quality and fuel characterisation. The system must be capable of operating as a standalone analytical platform and must also be compatible with a separately procured thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) system for evolved gas analysis workflows. The specification therefore includes requirements for interfacing, gas transfer, and handling of low-concentration, transient species.2026 2684 (2) - The Supply, Delivery, Installation/Assembly and Commissioning of Equipment to Cavan and Monaghan Education and Training Board
