Gegenüber konventionellen Brennstoffzellen weist die Geometrie der Membrane hierbei eine hexagonale Struktur auf. Zur Realisierung der Projektziele ist der Zukauf von Membran Elektroden Einheiten für den Aufbau des Prototypen Brennstoffzellenstacks vorgesehen.
