Die hier ausgeschriebenen Leistungen umfassen schwerpunktmäßig die Planung von Verkehrsanlagen, Ingenieurbauwerken und Tragwerksplanung für die ABS Hanau und Gelnhausen (Übertragene Leisungen Lph 3-4, Optionale Leistungen Lph 6-7). Die Strecke zwischen Hanau und Gelnhausen ist durchgehend auf vier Gleise auszubauen. Zwei Gleise sind der Strecke 3600 zuzuordnen und sollen den „langsamen“ SPNV und SGV aufnehmen. Weitere zwei Gleise sind der Strecke 3677 zuzuordnen und sollen im Wesentlichen den „schnellen“ SPFV aufnehmen. Neben dieser Planung sollen im weiteren Planungsleistungen in den Bereichen Freianlagen, Umwelt, Brandschutzkonzepte, Seweso-Studie sowie Baugrunderkundungen erbracht werden. Im Detail sind diese den Leistungsbeschreibungen und den Vorbemerkungen zu entnehmen. Insgesamt erfolgt eine Unterteilung in 6 Lose.
