Dies umfasst z.B. die Analyse der Umsetzung, Konformität und/oder Durchführung nationaler Umsetzungsmaßnahmen des GD HOME-Acquis oder die Bewertung von Antworten der Mitgliedstaaten auf laufende Vorverletzungs- und Verletzungsverfahren oder Beschwerden. Die Gutachten dienen der Kommission zur Sicherstellung der vollständigen und korrekten Umsetzung des Unionsrechts in Mitgliedstaaten und nicht-EU-Staaten des Schengen-Raums gemäß Artikel 258 AEUV.
