In 2022 the Creative Ireland Programme was allocated €6 million over three years (2023-25) to invest in creative initiatives under the Government’s Shared Island initiative. 2023 marked the first year of Creative Ireland’s participation in the initiative, which aims to harness the full potential of the Good Friday Agreement to enhance cooperation, connection and mutual understanding on the island and engage with all communities and traditions to build consensus around a shared future. The Shared Island dimension to the Creative Ireland Programme seeks to deploy creativity on a shared island basis to: 1. Increase opportunities for cross-community cultural and creative initiatives between children and young people; 2. Support local authorities to enhance networks of creativity in support of vibrant and inclusive people-to-people and community-to-community partnerships; 3. Position Ireland as a global leader in demonstrating the value of creativity and mental health including in post-conflict societies; 4. Deepen collaborations for a more environmentally and socially sustainable island. An evaluation of the first phase was published in March 2026 and is available in the publications section of Creative Ireland's website. Following a government decision, Creative Ireland’s Shared Island initiative has received €9.3m in funding for a second phase from 2026-2028. Following a series of recent grant calls, Creative Ireland is working to evaluate applications with the intention of awarding grants in June 2026. There will be approximately 23 Creative Ireland Shared Island projects based throughout the island of Ireland, each with its own individual project-level evaluator. It is intended that an evaluator will be in place from the outset of this iteration of the initiative to undertake the following: 1. Undertake an economic appraisal of Creative Ireland’s Shared Island initiative 2026-2028, 2. Undertake a qualitative analysis of the initiative, 3. Develop the capacity of the individual project-level evaluators by managing a formal evaluator network. Further information on these requirements is outlined in the tender document. The project delivery timeline and outputs will be agreed with the successful tenderer at the outset of the project but will include an interim Report and a Final Report. In order to preserve the independence of the evaluation element of the project, Requirements 1 and 2 will need to be undertaken in isolation from Requirement 3. It is incumbent on tenderers to demonstrate that they have the capacity and resources to carry out these different elements in this manner.

10Provision of research and evaluation services for the delivery of the Creative Climate Action Fund III (2026-2029) to the Creative Ireland Programme
Department of Culture Communications SportKillarneyCreative Ireland is holding an open grant call for funding of approximately 10-15 Creative Climate Action projects lasting three years (36-month period) from 2026 to 2029. The successful grantees will likely include institutions and organisations with capacity to deliver large-scale projects, such as national cultural, climate and community organisations, NGOs, businesses, local authorities, networks and academic institutions working in the intersection of climate action, adaptation and creativity. There will be a focus on inter-disciplinary teams that include community partners, climate scientists, evaluators, and creative practitioners. The total value of grant funding is €6.5 million. A comprehensive, independent evaluation of the Creative Climate Action Fund III (2026-2029) initiative will provide an invaluable evidence-base to demonstrate to policymakers and funding Departments the impact and value of the initiative and its scalability. There is growing acknowledgement amongst policymakers that narrow macroeconomic measures like GDP do not capture the full range of citizens’ lived experiences. A sole focus on indicators like GDP can lead to other aspects of life – particularly those that cannot be easily assigned a monetary value, such as wellbeing, social inclusion and just transition – being undervalued. It is important that the final research equally balances both elements. It is envisaged that the process of the research will include, but not be limited to: * Coordination of 10-15 embedded evaluators at project level. The grantees are required to have an embedded evaluator in place at the beginning of the project. The successful tenderer is expected to develop a community of practice of the embedded evaluators group via 3-4 meetings per year to ensure a consistent approach to evaluation at project level. * Leading a workshop around evaluation methodologies and support in clarifying project outputs and outcomes for the embedded evaluators in 2026. * RegularTraining and development services for the delivery of the Creative Climate Action Fund III (2026-2029) to the Creative Ireland Programme
Department of Culture Communications SportKillarneyThe Creative Climate Action Fund III (2026-2029) is a key deliverable for the Creative Climate Action and Sustainability pillar of the Creative Ireland Programme. This fund seeks to build on the premise that transformational action on climate change requires cultural change throughout society, and with the ambition to utilise the potential of the arts, creativity and heritage to inspire and empower the culture change needed to transform to a net zero Ireland by 2050. A key finding of the evaluation of the first fund was the need for training and development of project leaders to ensure that this investment realises the object of building enduring capacity in the sector. There will be organisations from different sectors in receipt of the grant funding including: arts and cultural organisations, local authorities, research institutions, environmental groups and community development organisations. We envisage that there will be up to 15 projects funded. These projects teams have a good knowledge of climate action. However, a consistency of understanding of the policy objectives and best-practice methods of project delivery will be essential to the success of the fund. Therefore, this training and development package will: * Ensure a consistency of technical knowledge across all project teams * Ensure a consistency of approach to be taken on dialogue between projects and with communities the projects are engaging and facilitating dialogue with, to ensure that this aligns with the approach taken in the National Dialogue on Climate Action (NDCA) * Ensure full understanding of the policy framework as set out in the Climate Action Plan 2025. * Support individual projects in their approach to data collection and evaluation * Support project management and communications functions within individual projects * Provide a supportive network for the projects to facilitate collaboration and sharing of skills, knowledge and best practice It is envisaged that that the training wilEvaluation of the collaboration project Sustainable sick leave
Arbeids- og inkluderingsdepartementetOsloDeadline: Sep 29The Collaboration Project Sustainable Sick Leave (BS) is a part of AID ́s work on following-up the Contract for reduced sick leave and loss from working life (the IA agreement). The collaboration project is anchored in the national budget (Chapter 601, item 75 Enclosed for effective sick leave) and annual awards from AID to the Norwegian Medical Association. The contracting authority would like, with the procurement, to implement an evaluation project that shall be both directed towards mapping the effects/results of the initiatives in the collaboration project BS, at the same time as it is relevant to map and assess the efforts and activities in the cooperation project. Reporting along the way shall contribute to adjusting the measures. The procurement is related to work with following-up sick leave and particularly the interaction between the gp and patient. The collaboration project shall strengthen the GP's role in sick leave work and increase health competence of the population. The project involves implementing initiatives aimed at both general practitioners and patients. The measure includes both awareness raising and training measures aimed at their gp about their sick leave practice and measures to increase patients' awareness and understanding of sick leave. The aim is that cooperation between doctor and patient on sick leave shall be better, and thus contribute to fewer, shorter and better adapted sick leave, including increased use of graded sick leave. There is a need for knowledge that maps the activities in the collaboration project, on the initiatives will be assessed as relevant in the consultation with the sick leavers, whether the measures have an effect on their gp's sick leave practice and if their GP finds that cooperation with registered sick leave, employer, the Norwegian Labour and Welfare Administration has improved and their role and responsibilities in follow-up sick leave has become clearer. There is also a need for knowledge on the collaboration project has contributed to reduced sick leave. The collaboration project is a development project where feedback can be given during the process (evaluation of the process).
