The Framework Agreement will be established on foot of competitive tenders received based on Notional Hours and rates as detailed in the Pricing Document. The Project Managers will have a Civil/Structural/Architectural (CSA) background and work will primarily be on various UCC Capital works projects. The Project Managers will be required to support the Capital Projects Office team to manage the delivery of multiple projects reporting directly to an appointed member of the Capital Projects Office team, the project manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the projects including liaising with project stakeholders and co-ordinating the activities of consultants and contractors. The role will involve both office in UCC Campus and site-based duties. The Framework Agreement will be established on foot of competitive tenders received for the role of ACM Consultancy Services based on Notional Hours and rates as detailed in the Pricing Document.This competition is conducted using an open procedure with a qualitative assessment. The Most Economically Advantageous Tenders will be appointed to the single supplier framework. The services required under the Framework consist of the following: • ACM Consultancy Services for Removal and Disposal of Asbestos Containing Materials for Buildings and Estates Office. • Asbestos Removal Management • Preparation of Detailed Budgets for ACM Removal Projects • Preparation of Tender documents • Asbestos Survey and Risk Assessments • Site Supervision and Monitoring of Asbestos Removal as detailed above. • Site Inspections/Site Audits of ACM Contractors during removal as detailed above. • Routine Sampling and analysis of Asbestos – As part of regular surveying of the estate. • Non-routine sampling and analysis of Asbestos – An Emergency provision when there is a risk of exposure • University College Cork will only accept the use of INAB accredited laboratories with ISO/IEC 17025:2017 with BOHS P401 qualified asbestos analysts for both asbestos surveying and sample analysis. • Asbestos Exposure Monitoring • Asbestos Audits on UCC Buildings. • Acting as PSDP and competent person for ACM Removal Contracts. • Preparation of Permits to Work for ACM Removal Contracts. • Attending Safety Action Teams and Safety Management team meetings for Asbestos specific issues • Delivering Training on Asbestos in line with SOP 20 and a range of other Asbestos specific training • General advice to Management on dealing with Asbestos • Assist UCC to maintain upkeep the Asbestos Register/Asbestos Record Keeping. • Respond to Asbestos Incidents -FCC/200/26 Establishment of a Multi-Party Framework Agreement for the Provision of Valuations and Valuation Advisory Services for the Housing Dept in Fingal Co Co, including an Initial 2 yr contract
