Es ist der Ersatz der Stahlkastenbrücke durch eine neue Stahlhohlkastenbrücke mit Lagerung auf den vorhandenen Pfeilern und Widerlagern geplant. Der nördliche Teil der Moselbrücke ist eine Gewölbebrücke, für die eine neue Abdichtung vorgesehen ist. Beim EÜ Moselring ist eine vollständige Erneuerung der Überbauten und Widerlager geplant. Die Inbetriebnahme ist für den Teil der Strecke 2630 für 06/2028 und für den Teil der Strecke 3011 für 11/2028 vorgesehen.
