Die Mehrzweckhalle in Mitterteich wurde im Jahre 1983 errichtet. Das markante Gebäude ist als Stahlhalle konzipiert. Das Hallendach ist mit Fachwerkträgern sowie quer errichteten Flachdächern mit dazwischenliegenden Mulden ausgeführt. Die Nebenräume um die Halle sind mit Flachdächern und Bitumenabdichtung realisieret. Die bituminöse Dachabdichtung ist überaltert. Aufgrund der vielfältigen Fassadendurchdringungen sind massive Wärmebrücken erkennbar. Das Gebäude soll saniert werden. Statisch nicht notwendige vorspringende Bauteile der Dach- und Fassadentragkonstruktion sollen weitestgehend entfernt werden. Die gesamten Hallenflächen sind zu dämmen und abzudichten.
