University of Jyväskylä (JYU) is inviting tenders for an Elemental Analyzer-Isotope Ratio Mass Spectrometer (EA-IRMS) and for an entry-level Elemental Analyzer (EA) devices. EA-IRMS device shall be a fully automated single system for carbon, nitrogen, and sulphur analysis by flash combustion, and oxygen and hydrogen analysis by high temperature pyrolysis (reduction). The subject of the procurement is an EA-IRMS for the high-precision measurement of carbon (C), nitrogen (N), sulphur (S), oxygen (O) and hydrogen (H) isotope ratios (i.e., δ13C, δ15N, δ34S, δ18O and δ2H values) in solid environmental matrices. The device will primarily be used for the analysis of carbon, nitrogen, and sulphur. The instrument is to be optimized for continuous flow operation, but includes also a connection(s) for low flow peripherals. A separate Entry-level elemental analyzer (EA) for carbon, hydrogen and nitrogen (CHN) analysis of solid environmental matrices is also included in the procurement.

10Analytical instrument - CRDS isotope monitor
Stockholms universitetStockholmDeadline: Sep 23Analytical instrument - CRDS isotope monitor - an instrument for automated monitoring of environmental levels of methane. Both mixing ratio and stable carbon isotope composition must be measured. The instrument must be field deployable and work without cryogens and generate data with a time constant <180 seconds. It will largely be based on a climate observatory in the tropics and seldom be re-located. We now request information on the state of the art with respect to these kinds of measurements.26/345 ATU Request for tender for supply of a dedicated solid sample Total Organic Carbon (TOC) analyser suitable for peatland restoration research and long term soil carbon monitoring
Atlantic Technological UniversityLetterkennyDeadline: Sep 08ATU invites tenders for the supply of a dedicated solid-sample TOC carbon analyser suitable for peatland restoration research and long-term soil carbon monitoring. The system must be capable of analysing organic-rich environmental solid matrices, including peat, restored and degraded peatland soils, upland organic soils, mineral soils, wetland sediments and associated catchment sediments. Full details of requirements and specifications are in the published tender documents.NL-Petten: New gas detection system and maintenance services for GASTEF
European Commission, DG GROW - Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEsBrusselsDeadline: Aug 17The JRC would like to procure a new gas detection system, consisting of oxygen and hydrogen detectors (approx. 12 oxygen detectors and approx. 4 hydrogen detectors, exact numbers depending on the technology used), and a central control unit, for its High-Pressure Gas Testing Facility (GASTEF) to replace an outdated one. The GASTEF facility is used for the experimental assessment of safety and performance of systems and components under pressurised hydrogen, and the gas detection system has a safety purpose for the facility. Some of the detectors will need to be able to operate in an inert atmosphere, i.e. nitrogen, and be compliant to ATEX zone 2 (Hydrogen) requirements. The procurement will need to include the supply of the gas detection system equipment, its installation and commissioning at the GASTEF facility, and preventive and corrective maintenances for a period of 8 years.Prima BT Bench Top Process Mass Spectrometer (Prima BT MS)
Aalto University Foundation srAALTOPrima BT is a process mass spectrometry platform designed for near real-time off-gas analysis from multiple bioreactors that fulfils the requirements specified in “Definition of Requirements”. It employs a magnetic sector mass spectrometer, providing high long-term stability and precision for the measurement of key gases (e.g., O₂, CO₂, N₂, Ar) across multiple streams, supporting scales from benchtop development to pilot studies. The system computes bioprocess performance indicators such as oxygen uptake rate (OUR), carbon dioxide evolution rate (CER), and respiratory quotient (RQ), providing continuous process insight without interrupting the culture. Each bioreactor stream is sampled independently through automated multiplexing, allowing customized timing, calibration factors, and data acquisition per reactor. Time-resolved gas compositions are recorded for every stream, facilitating robust mass balance calculations and volumetric mass transfer analysis. The BT MS software enables full instrument control, automated calibration and validation routines, secure data logging, and integration with laboratory and process control systems via standard protocols (e.g., OPC) for real-time monitoring, alarm management, and compliant data archival. In summary, the device is designed for comprehensive bioprocess monitoring, enabling precise, non-invasive analysis of gas exchange dynamics across multiple bioreactors simultaneously, with the magnetic sector MS providing unparalleled stability and reproducibility.Secondary ion mass spectrometer (SIMS) - PR1195891-2050-W

The European Joint Undertaking for ITER and the Development of Fusion Energy ('Fusion for Energy')BarcelonaThe services of the envisaged contract concern the supply of engineering services for the design of the ITER Isotope Separation System (ISS) and Water Detritiation System (WDS). The two systems can be described as chemical plants processing tritiated water and hydrogen isotope gas streams from the ITER machine. The detritiation of the water is done by WDS and the separation and purification of the hydrogen isotope gas streams is handled by ISS. Deliveries cover final design work on both systems to prepare their manufacturing, along with other tasks like qualification of components and support to the owner. The scope covers also qualification testing of components of ISS, WDS and the REMS the Radiological Environmental Monitoring System and prototyping tasks for some components of the tritium fuel cycle.Supply of a mass spectrometry analyzer for newborn screening and services of related maintenance
Laboratoire National de SantéDudelangeThe LNS wants: - To acquire a combined HPLC and mass spectrometer (LC-MS/MS) for newborn screening analysis. The instrument will be used for the quantitative analysis of amino acids, acylcarnitines, and other metabolites in dried blood spot (DBS) samples for early detection of metabolic disorders - And to purchase maintenance services for a minimum of four (4) years after one (1) year of warranty The successful Tenderer shall ensure the due and proper execution and coordination of the acquisition of the material and the services of maintenance, on behalf of the LNS. The supply and Services shall be performed by the successful Tenderer’s staff, whose competence, courtesy and presentation shall be irreproachable. The details of the acquisition and maintenance are described in Article 8.Cryogenic ion trap mass spectrometer for infrared laser spectroscopy for HFML-FELIX
Stichting Nederlandse Wetenschappelijk Onderzoek Instituten (NWO-I)AMSTERDAMThe HFML-FELIX institute houses an international user facility hosting a series of infrared free-electron lasers (FELs) that are available for experiments to both local and visiting (inter)national scientists. The lasers cover the infrared region from 2.8 – 150 µm with macropulse energies > 100 mJ (10 µs pulses @ 10 Hz). A major application of the FELs involves infrared ion spectroscopy, where vibrational spectra are obtained for the ionized molecules inside a mass spectrometer with the aim to elucidate their chemical structure. For this purpose, a high-resolution and high-sensitivity cryogenic ion trap mass spectrometer (MS) is required that will meet the diverse requirements of high sensitivity in analytical applications, high resolution in MS analysis, ion storage at cryogenic temperature leading to high spectral resolution in the IR spectra, and optical access to the ions in the cryogenic trap by the high pulse energies of the FELs. 1x Cryogenic ion trap mass spectrometerCryogenic ion trap mass spectrometer for infrared laser spectroscopy for HFML-FELIX
