Die Berlinische Galerie, Landesmuseum für Moderne Kunst, Fotografie und Architektur, ist eine Stiftung öffentlichen Rechts des Landes Berlin mit rund 90 Beschäftigten und etwa 88 IT-Anwender:iinnen. Gegenstand der Vergabe sind Beratungs-, Konzeptions-, Migrations-, Implementierungs-, Schulungs- und Dokumentationsleistungen zur Einführung von Microsoft 365. Die derzeitige hybride On-Premise-Umgebung auf Basis von Univention Corporate Server, Open-Xchange, Samba 4 sowie Windows-Fileservern soll während des laufenden Museumsbetriebs vollständig oder überwiegend durch eine moderne Microsoft-365-Zielplattform abgelöst werden. Zum Zielsystem gehören insbesondere Exchange Online, Microsoft Entra ID, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Intune, Microsoft 365 Apps sowie Microsoft Defender.
