The selected firm shall provide full-time, in-person technical services for three components: technical support to innovators under the Prototype and Product Development Programme; equipment operation and maintenance training for UniPod interns, covering the CNC routers, CO₂ laser cutter, 3D printers, PCB prototyping system, CNC drill machine, industrial drills, industrial plastic shredder, vacuum former, Meta VR set, industrial juicer, industrial mixer, vacuum sealer, and industrial oven; and a Digital Fabrication and CAD Capacity-Building Programme for approximately 70 participants. The Hub aims to foster innovation, research, and technology-driven solutions in the health sector by providing innovators, researchers, startups, and technology developers with access to advanced laboratory and prototyping equipment. As part of this initiative, the Hub has acquired specialized laboratory equipment, including an Opentrons Flex Liquid Handling Robot, a Formlabs Form 3 SLA 3D Printer, an Ultimaker S5 FDM 3D Printer, and associated accessories and software. To ensure the equipment is installed, commissioned, and operated in accordance with manufacturers requirements and industry standards, UNDP Rwanda invites qualified firms to submit quotations for the provision of installation, calibration, testing, user training, and post-installation maintenance support services.
