Es soll der Langzeitbetrieb von DAS-Systemen an Telekommunikations-Kabeln in jeweils Ost- und Nordsee und verschiedenen Hafenbereichen etabliert werden. Die DAS-Systeme detektieren Störungen an Telekommunikations-Kabeln, wie z. B. durch die akustischen Wellen von vorbeifahrenden Schiffen ausgelöst werden. Ziel ist es, Telekommunikations-Kabel vor Sabotage zu schützen.
