Die Gemeinde Monthey und der Chemiestandort Monthey bauen gemeinsam über die TCM SA einen kombinierten Schienen-Straßen-Terminal in der Nähe eines der grössten Chemie-Standorte der Schweiz. Der Terminal ist Teil der territorialen Planung der Schweiz und der Kantone Waadt und Wallis und wird in das zukünftige Netz regionaler Terminals integriert. Der Standort im Chablais (VS, VD) liegt nahe der Simplon-Bahnlinie und der Autobahn A9 (Ausfahrt Bex < 2 km). Die Anlage umfasst ca. 8000 m² Lagerfläche für 768 TEU-Container auf 3 Ebenen, davon 288 für Gefahrgut, zwei 250 m lange Lagerbänder für Wechselbehälter, zwei 300 m lange Gleise, einen 60 m breiten Portalkran, ein anpassbares Verwaltungsgebäude, Infrarot-Überwachung und Gefahrgut-Detektion. Die Bauarbeiten haben begonnen.
