Summary Finavia is exploring how Computer Vision Technology (CVT) and related operational analytics could support airport safety, operational efficiency, situational awareness and data-driven decision-making. The initial area of interest is a potential pilot at Helsinki Airport. The purpose of this RFI is to obtain market information in a transparent and supplier-neutral manner. Finavia seeks to understand solution maturity, relevant use cases, delivery and deployment alternatives, use of existing camera infrastructure where feasible, privacy and security approaches, scalability and indicative commercial models. The information received may be used to refine Finavia’s understanding of the market and to prepare a possible later procurement. No decision to procure, conduct a pilot, select a supplier or expand a solution has been made through this RFI. Any possible procurement would be conducted separately and would define its own scope, mandatory requirements, evaluation criteria, contractual terms and acceptance criteria.

Finavia OyjVantaaDeadline: Sep 20THIS IS NOT A PROCUREMENT NOTICE. Duty Free opportunity opening at Helsinki Airport in 2029! Finavia is looking for retail operators to be part of building the future of Helsinki Airport and to create value for our future flight passengers in the 20 million passenger category at a strong international hub. Helsinki Airport presents a great opportunity to reach international clientele for operators with strong experience operating large-scale retail operations in an international retail environment, high service quality, relevant and cutting-edge retailing. In addition to a vibrant, international hub, Helsinki Airport offers a unique sense of place, where brands – big and small, established and rising, international and local – have the opportunity to come together and operate successfully. The objective of this RFI is to identify retail operators that align with Finavia's vision of providing a unique and engaging shopping experience for travellers. We are particularly interested in solutions that offer highly recognized and sought-after local and global brands and products, agility in meeting fast-changing consumer needs, exceptional customer service, and innovative approaches to retail without forgetting the sense of place of Helsinki Airport. This RFI is non-binding and aims to gather insights from innovative and well-established retail operators who are interested in operating an airport-wide duty-free business in Finland at the award-winning Helsinki Airport.
