Im Zuständigkeitsbereich der Außenstelle Hannover ist das Straßenbegleitgrün entlang verschiedener Autobahnen gemäß des Merkblatts Grünpflege an Straßen (FGSV 390/1) zu pflegen. Dabei sind Gehölzbestände durch auf den Stock setzen, Baumfällungen und Einzelbaumentnahmen gemäß der Leistungspositionen im Leistungsverzeichnis zu verjüngen. Die zu schneidenden Gehölze befinden sich an straßenbegleitenden Böschungen, Banketten oder auf angrenzenden Grünflächen.
