Beschaffung eines CliniMACS Prodigy (Miltenyi Biotec) für die Abteilung D196 „Tumorimmunologie und Tumorimmuntherapie“ am HI-TRON Mainz. Das Gerät ist eine geschlossene, vollautomatisierte GMP-konforme Zellkulturplattform zur Herstellung aktivierter Zellen für Cell and Gene Therapy. Es wird für ein genehmigtes gemeinsames Projekt mit MED3 (UK-Mainz) benötigt; präklinische Studien wurden bereits erfolgreich mit einem vergleichbaren System durchgeführt. Das neue Gerät soll ein GMP-Labor für die klinische Produktion ausstatten. Ein alternatives System mit vergleichbarer Funktionalität existiert derzeit nicht.
